Wednesday Night Poetry - "Islands"
Islands
Inspired by ally - @helena-m
A sea of green
life teeming in the water
on distant shores
where the sun stays hotter
sandy mountains
forests on the beach
a different way of life
a different way they teach
a different perspective
a simple wrinkle in time
hidden from view
of the human eye
listless in bliss from unity
whispers exist with impunity
who tunes in to the distant mistress
swooned by moons beyond existence.
