The agony of the weak and oppressed begs attention
The cries of injustice are continuous chants
The joy of a united nation - no longer mentioned!
The journey towards Liberty requires all hands
The days and the nights have become torturous
The helpless and weak seek a better tomorrow
Hunger embraces the poor but not the prosperous
There’s a quest for liberty to end today’s sorrow
There is the chant of agitation
There is the call for freedom
There is a yearn for a federation
Birthed through Men of wisdom
