Sad yet relatable... :/ Sometimes you love someone and they promise to stay, but then they let go and it hurts a lot. Nicely communicated through the poem. "The affection is tireless". Nicely put. Expresses exactly the feeling you get. It's hard to know when to give up and when to keep fighting. But your feelings kinda push you to carry on.
