Imaginary City

Let’s go somewhere
where no secrets are kept,
no midnight clandestine
of star crossed lovers
denied by the glory of fate.

Let’s go somewhere
where there’s no falling
down the rabbit hole,
no deceit,
and no magic tricks.

Let’s go somewhere
where there’s no fear
of what will be,
where there’s no running
and hiding.
A place only us know,
a place for You and I.
