and set off to find hidden gems of a poetic nature 'neath cover of night.
Just this morning we heard, oe'r the roar of the waves, that a poem to curate's in sight!
Well, this poem in question is yours, so this writ from the shores of the Isle of Write
is announcing deposit of five SBDs in your wallet: we hope that's all right.
Our anthology's filled with the poems of Steemit; black ink on its pages of white:
and if yours is included we're sure of the loudest applause that your words will incite!
We beseech you to navigate now to the Isle, making haste as a bird soars in flight.
As you traverse the ocean you'll see our tall palms; from your vessel, please safely alight.
“@treasurehunter” you'll type to inform us you're here and your ship is all moor'd nice and tight.
Then as soon as we can, we will ping you to answer your questions both mammoth and trite,
and a verification of willingness we will procure with a flourishing rite
saying you will allow us to publish your “pome” in this tome of the Isle of Write!

Ha ha. Yes I hope so @geke. Even after mentioning whale sharks in no less than 3 of my posts the whales still haven't come a knocking. To be fair Curie have come a knocking plenty of times so I shouldn't moan. However, the most wonderful pod of dolphins have started to pay regular visits to the scuba scribe reef so I am happy 😉 🐋
Thanks @shawnamawna, if reincarnation is a real thing I would love to come back as a whale shark or maybe a dolphin. Those guys really know how to have a laugh :-)
Thanks @tattoodjay it was origonally written on the boat back from the snorkeling expedition. I remember going into a bit of a trance and just writing without thinking. It has had about 3 edits to get it to this point but it retains that initial impression that I got after being in the water with these gentle giants. Thanks for your comment m8 🐟🐠 🙂
nice poetry about the ocean life, although mankind is yet to explore an inch of what the ocean has to offer. I kinda hope we don't because man and nature don't mix on the grand scale.
Sad but true @abmakko, that as the human race explores the deeper places in the ocean, we will probably just be looking to exploit the natural resources. I encourage everyone to get into scuba diving because my experience of it has given me such a respect and spiritual connection with the various ocean creatures I have met. If enough people get that feeling I am hoping human kind can change, one by one. Thanks for your comment and insights🐟🐠 🙂
