DEATH

Death Oh Death
What a doleful thing it is
The death of a loved one
All the sad yelling like a sea wave
wistful tears like a mere child lost in a new city
Riffing through the muscles, bones and guts.

But we all know
That our time in this world is limited
And that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet
Never to wake up
And yet it is always a bolt from the blue
When it happens to someone we knew

Death is just like crossing the world
As sailors do the sea
Whatever dies really do not die
We see it not that death is only another shore
Death is never the end

Probably everything remains the same
I am I
You are You
And the old life is untouched

Why cry for a soul set free
Why be in a state of melancholy
Because someone you love is out of sight
But waiting for you somewhere very near
All is well
Nothing is hurt
Nothing is lost
