Everyone is lonely,
lonely for attention,
lonely for recognition,
hungry for praise,
wanting to be seen as the better one,
the better off,
wanting to be envied,
everyone's wearing a mask
to hide
the fucked up kid inside
who enjoys dancing to the music
of this meat parade.

I wrote this poem on November 16, 2014, I was tired of Facebook that time.
Awesome.... You have perfectly expressed my thoughts on Facebook. I hate using Facebook. I stopped using it years ago. I still have a FB account only for find great deals in the area through FB Market place. Other than that there is no usability of FB in my life. Plus FB is a time waste , and I feel Face Book has some sort of negative energy that inflicts its users.
Love Steemit. And love your poetry. Keep Rocking or shall I say Steeming :)
