For a while - Poem
Fluttering in the wind,
Lightly,
Two inches to the right,
Right to the heart.
Grateful for the concern,
Looking down and away,
Hard to let the leaf fly away,
For the Tree needs to hold onto it.
Turning around,
Away in a second,
The curve of happiness,
True to the course.
Anchoring with a sigh,
It was meant to be,
Yet wonder it is,
As how it all came to be.
Lovely melancholy poem. These lines stood out for me
