The Devil's Playground
The sun is setting
The crickets are chirping
The air is heavy and still
The woods are dark
A presence is felt
Up your spine goes a chill
You quietly sneak
Down the eerie path
To see what evil awaits
A voice is calling
To guide you along
Luring you closer to your fate
Spiders are floating
Gators are lurking
Waiting for their prey

This is where wild things play
At the end of the path
Land meets the black water
Where old legends are told
A voice starts screaming
"You better run,
Before the swamp swallows you whole!"
You turn to escape
It's much too late
You hear a snarling hiss
"Your soul is mine"
She whispers in your ear
And drags you into the deep abyss

This is my playground Steemians. I've played in these swamps since I was a young girl. You can see what kind of imagination a creepy place like this can evoke, where the predators lurk around every corner. It was and still is a mysterious and magical place.
