OUR SONG OF PRAISE

And when they gather at night
Far away from every light
Trust him to be there in his might
For he fights for us even out of sight.

They may stay all night to plan
They may be strangers or of clan
But no matter how well they plan
He will be there as our faithful man.

And how foolish can our adversaries be?
When they labor in vain to destroy you and me
Trying so hard that we may not be
But his strong arms hold us on to be.

This is the rock of salvation we have found
This is the glory he has on us crowned
That we be healthy and sound
Even as enemies plot to turn things around.

And so glory be to his holy name
He that in his mercy saves us from shame
Clothes us and present is in a glorious frame
He is our song and our flame
And for his sake we fear not the enemy's game.
