3 Bumpity Wood Stacking

Bob and I have been doing a lot of work in the gardens. Some days, after doing a lot of work involving a lot of physical exertion, we’ll head over to the woodshed to continue to be productive, but doing something relatively easy. So, we got a lot of stuff done with the firewood. Well, Bob has recently discovered how to use his smartphone to take photos and how to transfer the photos from his smartphone to his computer. So, now he created a photodocumentary of me stacking firewood. He gets to employ his talent and passion for poetry writing and to add photo illustration. So, Bob created this photodocumentary of me stacking firewood, and he “published” it in his way, i.e. a mass email to his mailing list of friends. The subject line of the email was “LeRoy, a VERY helpful friend! :-)” So, I’m pasting below the contents of that email.

Wood -stacker.... :-)

LeRoy.... was simply....stacking wood.....
stacking.... as much....as LeRoy could.

And you may not.....really....be aware....
but....there's a wheelbarrow....under there. :-)

When all the loose wood....was picked clean.... (eight feet high....and it all did lean!) That high stack.... did.... a lively dance.... when LeRoy....created....an avalanche! :-)

We took this picture....just to prove.... that lots of wood....did LeRoy move! he hefted the barrow.....(all made of steel).... and away....to the house.....did Leroy wheel!

Near.... to the door.....was an all steel rack.... and there he made....an elegant stack. we talked....and laughed, (and did.... work some).... :-) 'cause.... woodpile work....is playful fun!

Don't worry....'bout the cold....there's really no need.... we have, (really!).... lots of wood.....both stoves to feed! So come to the fire....and pull up a chair..... we'll fix some food....so come and share! :-)

Now.....we don't care....if you think this.... somewhat..... strange.... but....we loves our wood!....an' that....ain't gonna change! We keeps 'em....all tucked in.....from the snow and rain.... jus' awaitin'....for you....to come back again! :-)

LeRoy.... drove through.... lots of states.... since leavin' Santa Fe.... but we're really glad....that he's stopped by.... an' come down.... for a "working stay!" :-)

Whether....workin' with the wood....
or doin'....lots of weedin'.... work....
laughin'..... (we've discovered)....
is a mutual....friendship perk! :-)
