THE SILENT BECKONS (An Original Poetry)

Shrinking lights, zappings in the soul
grandfather's clocking trekking
with momentums and thumping tempo
tiny chirps of the forest's cicadas
mimicking the gentle thudding of water
on rocks, but our soul is in trembles
the vulture's arrival is imminent
like a celestial bell tolling
it's time to shed this humanity
Something beckons from afar
far into the Elysian monuments
so gentle as Orpheus's melody
tempting as the redolence of autumn
amidst the ripples, crippling
like cereping plants
through the kidney and spine
outside the orchard of Eden
life is reborn like a new budding
I can hear the tenebrous beckons
masquerading behind the cuckoo's calls
from inside the lapping waters it comes
echoes ricochets on the conscience
taking the mind like Gulliver's travel
to a place of skulls and bones
where ignorance reigns supreme
and sniggers and scorn fills the firmament
Amidst the tinniest of tinkers
aroused the silent beckons
we're tenants in our own terrain
bathing naked in opaque places
exposing our darkness is a light
living inside the conquered part of us
Whether it's unto death or immortality
the earth has beckoned to us
and our xylophones and trombones
are waiting to answer with the loudest of music
