BROKEN (An Original Poetry)
Image source; broken & shattered
Pieces and fragment, scattered afar
buried beneath a benigness,
like the sun, on a French leave,
leaving the darkness,
to reign supreme,
the vultures, our shoulders to nestle
the crows cawing distances away
pounding like pestle
painting imageries of doom
We're broken
shredded into particles
into crumbles
happiness drowned at sea,
on a voyage to unexpectations
driven through the mind
like a screw up a metal,
is pain's reality
falling and falling
and reaching no ground,
The soul is unwhole,
like a boat without a row
like a bowl resonating,
a crashing kite in furious flight,
heading for no return
smeared in misery
in preparations for tomorrow
basking in defeat,
silence in sequence
Broken,
this pain is no illusion,
an uncertainty living in the head,
making you encumbered,
like a loaf soaked in water
feeding on knives and sticks
a disaster for recipe,
where shall we find comfort?
when all around quicksand abound?
