RE: Poetry Slam Challenge 12 (Storm, Her Name)

in #poetry7 years ago

Great job, dude! One might argue that the length of your name was a huge advantage for this challenge. It gave you a lot of room to flex your poetic muscle! Your poem wonderfully portrayed a storm. Brilliant stuff! I once did an acrostic of a storm as well, but involved the alphabet. I'll try to look for it.

Involved the alphabet... Like the whole alphabet? Wow, that would be quite the thing!! The length was good, the number of m's, o's and e's not so much but all in all I was happy with the end result!

You see, I've never had a lot of friends, so I had tons of spare time in my youth haha! Ohhh yeah, I didn't think about the repeating letters. That really seems to be a hurdle. But, you went through it swimmingly, and that's all that matters :D

Well It looks like a lack of friend didn't hurt you in the slightest. Childhood is a funny thing. At times I had loads and others I had none. Ultimately though i was happy and rats the important bit. Lots of spare time is good. Means you can do stuff!!

Yeah, I just try to focus on the positives that came out of it. No use dwelling on the negatives, right? Unless you still use a camera that uses film, then definitely keep the negatives safely stored haha!

Lol, oh dear oh dear!!!

Sometimes you hit jokes out of the park, sometimes you just hit it straight to the cornfield haha!
