The knowledge of men
A finite thing
For even science cannot mend
Our ignorance of the eldritch beings
The deathless Chinamen speak of the deep
For deep within the watery abyss
Lay the crypt city of R'lyeh
Its humming, like a dismal hiss
Its cyclopean geometry
Its eldritch bas-reliefs
Its horror, one cannot acquiesce
Therein slumbers
The Great Old One
A perverse aversion of unknown powers
Whose tentacled features
Writhes and devours
An abominable affront to all senses
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn
In the crypt city of R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu awaits in slumber
The great Cthulhu
Feared by all
By the shoggoths
The elder things
The Mi-gos
And the Yiths
When the war ended
And the dust settled
Cthulhu, his children and the starspawns slumbered

The ravings of a mad cultist
Calling forth beings
From the blasted planes of Leng
The shining trapezohedron
The mad sailor clutched with both hands
Staring into its oblivion
"The crawling chaos,
The last, the audient void,
Nyarlathotep
Come to thee"

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I've only recently discovered Lovecraft, didn't used to think it would be my cup of tea, guess I was wrong, his stories are very enjoyable.
