Triggers Triggered 🌀 (An Original Poem)

For now, I’m frustrated… So this should probably be read at a fast pace. (If you don’t mind my saying…)

Haven’t you read, debate is dead? 

‘Cause all we’re fed, are lies that are spread. 

Oh right, they won’t put that in print, 

Just fight, who’s confused by their tint. 

Use your words to be heard, 

All but lost on the herd. 

Shouting false claims, good names in-flame. 

Like beasts of burden, used up in vain. 

You’ve caused people to rear, and jeer through fear, 

Though nothing bad’s happened them, and no pain is near. 

The hypocrisy's astounding, threats of death over words!

Complaints abounding, that we'd suggest change for the world!

They scream passed each other, throwing eggs and hands, 

Their fathers and mothers wouldn’t dare stand, 

For this wicked behaviour, they’d be sickened to see, 

Petulance made public, paid feet on the streets. 

Humility forgotten, civility lost, 

Triggers triggered, but at what cost? 

‘Cause the use of fear and violence, 

For one's political aims which defy us…

IS CALLED TERRORISM, YOU TWISTED, TAINTED, MEDIA TYRANTS…
