LOVE IN A STRANGE PLACE

Some even called me a rebel
Yet I pushed on through life
My belief is what lies ahead is greater
So I never stopped for a minute to doubt love.
I met a lady with a crown of thorns
Her heart is unusual as it pumps black blood
Stories filled the media even the Blockchain
She is proud, she talks too much, who is she?
Oh mine! Just the kind of person I always want
The rejected meets the dejected and the story began.
It was fun from the first day with the rejected
The heart others saw as bad was only after love
Happiness that radiated from me spread to her
Just like virus in the blood stream of a man
And like the story that started earlier
Came to an end and the dejected moved on.
Tired of crying for help to get someone to love
Tears have frozen in the eyeballs of his
All he ever wanted was a storybook love
With a happy ending as seen in movies
Then he knelt down and pray to God for help
And the heaven opened with a song of Hallelujah.
On the road where it seems he walk alone
Just how hard it is to find a river in a desert
He found love in a strange place as we see
Her beauty got him hooked like hypnosis
His heart froze and his tongue became speechless
Yet he got her like the miracle he once prayed for.
This is what it means to find love in a strange place
A love so odd yet it is unique for others to see
The road to the altar is already tarred for them to walk
Even though the past was painful to hold on to
The future with his lover has healed him totally
And he has come to say, we find love in strange places.
MY THOUGHT
This 6-stanza poem talks about finding love in strange and hopeless places. I have heard of finding love in prisons, hospitals, court rooms and many more, this shows that love is everywhere if we can actually believe it is possible to find love. Never give up on love because of the past because it has passed, hold on to that string of belief that love can happen presently and lead you to the future with your future partner.
Finally, never look at the position or location you find love, what matters most is making use of the opportunity that life has presented to you. Love is truly worth all the stress if we can be patient. Thank you.
