There is serious chaos among us,
The fear of stepping outside and not coming back,
A serial killer is on the loose harvesting young girls’ lives,
For whatsoever reasons, the law forces have gone mute again,
The blood of the innocents are flowing in the oceans,
Everyone is terrified yet no one is ready to fight this issue.

The world watch as countries fail to protects its own,
But voices out when a celebrity has a nip slip,
The newspaper is filled with sorrows and cries,
Our hearts have been broken severally by the government than our failed relationships,
The end is here and there is nothing we can do to stop it,
Maybe then we can rest from the stress of living in this chaos.

We have become slaves to religions and traditions,
Our brain have been washed to bow to the culture of years ago,
Civilization was supposed to liberate us rather than turning to an excuse for war,
The creations of our loved past heroes have been weaponized to ruin us,
Ozone layer is depleted and science keeps hiding the truth about it,
Chaos is near and we better be ready to face or succumb to its fangs.

Countries are turning on each other for unreasonable reasons,
A country hates its president for fighting the truth about their beliefs,
Because everybody prefers to be an hypocrite than observe the freedom of speech,
We would rather the truth die inside us than open our mouths to let it out,
If it is like this now, what is the fate of the next generation to come?
How would 100 years from now be like? If not for ruins caused by us to ruin us.

This is a poetic piece about chaotic stories and occurrence around the world. It speaks about the fear of the present and future. The real big question is; what is our fate? If all countries turn against each other, what is our fate? If we kick against civilization, what is our fate? Only time will tell where this pendulum ball going back and forth will land. Till then, let's just keep our fingers crossed and watch.
