Gone
So taut in your skin
smooth scratches with sand
shallow you scrape within
walking dry in what you planned
You thought you had time
but you only had a little
and better you stay fine
before your bones turn brittle
Float off into another daydream
wisen my fallow heart
in what would seem
has drifted miles apart
Courage will be your saviour
You'll find the things
that you really needed
were always close to you
