Weekend freewrite. 3 Prompts.
I haven't done the weekend freewrite before.
Rather than the usual 5 minute word prompt it is built upon with 3 separate sentence prompts that are revealed as you go.
Stop reading and hit this link if you would like to join.
This is the first post prompt.

This is my effort.
It doesn't amount to much. I am so stuck on ballad writing at the moment (happily so). I'm having fun with this.
I have put lines in the places where the 5 minutes ran out and the next prompt was revealed.
Thanks @mariannewest.
No one is above the law
He said, and then he winked
He winked at her, like she should know
She just stared back and blinked
Nothing of this was familiar
Not police or precinct
His brazen confident swagger
It made her insides sink
Her head it swam, her legs went weak
Her brain refused to think
She simply couldn't fathom how
She'd landed in the clink
The doors slid open soundlessly
Revealing the complete scene
The utter chaos that I had
Been sent to fix and clean
When the boss calls this late at night
There's no time to convene
Follow orders without question
Or be next in ravine
It had become a routine thing
It's far from unforeseen
To bail his daughters out again
Jean, Ruth or Clementine
My eyes they fell on Marianne
Her eyes of olive green
Beside her grinning like a fool
Some unknown philistine
I didn't recognise the guy
Until my second take
Stood next to Marianne there stood
The bosses driver Jake
She is his youngest and favourite
Boss he calls her cupcake
She is indeed sweet but deadly too
Cake only fools partake
Sweet Marianne it seemed she'd had
Enough of her outbreak
The cops familiar with the deal
Happily on the take.
I sprung Jake too the cocky fool
No idea of the stakes
He pranced out of the station like
He'd won a great sweepstake.
Behind her bleary eyes I saw
Marianne was wide awake
To exactly what was waiting past
The mansions iron gates.
The dog barked loudly on approach
They're readied for the chase
"Is there a hunt today?" said Jake
Colour drained from his face.
