perplexity's veil

Roll up the veil of perplexity!!
I am now friends with an absurd being
Long walks while holding hands,
Is our favorite routine.
When my mind is lost,
she comes in, puzzling it the more
So many thoughts, my mind did bore
Some were efficient and some were not
But she was always there, to sweeten it up
This is the true face of perplexity,
The friend in me, that confuses the me.

It's been a while since i wrote a poem or rather posted at all, but that's all about to change now. I've defeated the forces that be. At least for now, lol....

So it's now time to dive deep.

DIVING DEEP

This is a very confusing poem for some, because it literally means confusion. So it's gonna get lots of people confused.

Roll up the veil of perplexity!!
This means remove the veil or cloth of confusion.

I am now friends with an absurd being
This is saying, the poet persona is friends with confusion

Long walks while holding hands,
Is our favorite routine.

When my mind is lost,
she comes in, puzzling it the more
Like all friends they stick close together, but his, is one that kills him, mentally.

So many thoughts, my mind did bore
Some were efficient and some were not
How to get rid of his friend, was what he was thinking of, but an idea can't come when the friend is also in where the idea is being made.

But she was always there, to sweeten it up
Like a veil she was always there to block his sight and install more confusion.

This is the true face of perplexity,
The friend in me, that confuses the me.
This sums it up, nothing will work for you when you're always confused with everything, even in your own mind.
