My Cebuano Poetry #10: "Salamat kaayo Ninyo!" 💯
Puno gayod ako sa mga balaka.
Kay wala gayod ako'y hapit makaila
ug moingon man lang ug "kumusta?"
Inubanan sa kalipay'g kasakit nga kasinati,
Sa katawa'g pagbakho nga nidahili
ug kining tanan, karon ko pa lang nabati
sa kinabuhi kong, sa pag inusara gahuot,
ug gitangtang ninyo akong mga kaligutgot
nga ako mismo wala makasabot.
isip mga amigo ug kanunay nagsapnay
sa akong mga kagoul ug talidhay
ug gigakos ako ninyo sa tumang kahapsay
nga kita mismo dili magkauyon
sa atong mga batasang dinala sa panahon
ug magkasumpaki sa di nato gustuhon.
kay giila tamong tinuod kong amigo
wa koy labot ug biyaan pako ninyo
kay gihigugma ko gayod kamo.
Ayaw ninyo kalimti ang tawgana'y nga
nagpalipay kanato.
Dad-on ko kining tanang sa paglampos ko,
"SALAMAT, KAAYO NINYO!"
