Thank you. Yes, I see that a lot, too. It can feel rude to the person they are supposed to be talking with in person. I'm somewhat old fashioned, too. But I can also understand how some people are multi-tasking and trying to be "efficient"... I think it would be better to focus on one conversation at a time.
