To a distant star
Upon the back of
A Humpback Whale
Wailing of unrequited love
Into the sun I would set sail
Dreaming
Aching
Yearning the thought of you
Wanting me as much
As I want and need you
To love me as two stars collide
In the darkness of space becoming
One with the universe
Their union forever captured
Within the essence of time
So can you and I
For love knows no boundaries
As it shines effervescent
Against a darkened sky
