Avoid following all the rest;
Live many little lives through experience
As one,
And you can rise far to what you
Can become;
Absorb yourself in a talent found,
And work on that talent until it is sound;
Share that gift both far and near,
While appreciating such a blessing
So dear;
Pride and protect your priceless health,
And give little attention to any
Obsession with wealth;
“You can” be what you want and do
What you should,
If you only follow what’s right and good;
And, that is, by not being a fool as well as
Following the golden rule;
Work hard and work long, plus stay out of
Trouble, and you can’t go wrong.
