My attempt at Poetry --- The Trail
How did you treat that needy?
She invaded when you were in need,
hope she left with an assurance,
hope she met the real you?
He hit you with a deed of hatred.
Why did he apologize?
The punishment? Or the kind gesture in you?
Will they agree to
sacrifice for you?
As you did, for them.
Will their eyeballs drip water?
On hearing you are leaving.
Will they plead for your continuity?
Or try to make you stay
Like Martins Jr., Mandela...;
can they tell a story of you
while their chins slack in joy?
The trail you left behind,
will they house it?
So, the rain doesn't snatch it?.
