আমি বৃষ্টিতে ভিজে গেছি।
আমাকে আর ডেকো না
আমি আর ফিরবো না।
আমি বৃষ্টিতে ভিজে গেছি।
দু হাত বাড়িয়ে আমি বৃষ্টি ছুঁয়েছি
এই হাতে অন্য ছোঁয়া আর মানাবে না।
আমাকে আর ডেকো না
আমি আর ফিরবো না
আমি বৃষ্টিতে ভিজে গেছি।
আমি ছুটছি এদিক ওদিক
উন্মত্তের মতো, আমি ছুটছি।
আমি ফিরে গেছি শৈশবে
বৃষ্টির সুরে মোহিত হয়ে।
মন্দিরে বেজে উঠলো ঘন্টা
তবু বৃষ্টি অবিশ্রান্ত অঝোর ধারা।
আমি সত্যিই আর ফিরবো না।
English Translation:
I got wet in the rain.
Do not call me anymore
I will not return
I got wet in the rain.
I touched the rain with two hands
Other touches in this hand will not be accepted.

I got wet in the rain.
I'm running away to and fro
Like crazy, I'm running.
I'm back to childhood
Moved by rainy waves
Bell ringing in the temple
