An original bengali poem:আমি মহাশুন্যে
যে শহরের বুকে ইচ্ছেরা মরে গেছে
সেখানে বৃষ্টি কেবল এসিড বয়ে আনে,
কয়েকটি বাবলা গাছের দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা
মিথ্যে ভালো থাকার আয়োজনে।
বহু নক্ষত্র রাত্রি পেরিয়ে আমি মহাশুন্যে
গুনে চলি মুত্যুর প্রহর অসমীকরণে,
অনেক স্মৃতির করুণ পরিণতির দাগ
বয়ে বেড়ায় জীবন প্রত্যয়ের আবরণে।

কালরাত্রির অপেক্ষায় আমি এই স্তব্ধ গোধূলি।
