I ride for an hour plus
over land and water
and inside subterranean
My thoughts never stop
My mind firing ecstatic
My life flowing before me
Soul compass engaged
Reassuring I won’t get lost
in my head before I reach
my retreat, my lair, my truth
My own private Far Rockaway
