This week I am able to enter the Poetry Contest hosted by @terrycraft! Thank you so much for another amazing creative opportunity. This week's theme is "imagination" and I hope you enjoy my poem. It is about the New Kingdom, or Heaven as some people call it, and how I would imagine it and hope it can paint the picture for others to see.

"The New Kingdom"

Begin to imagine a beautiful golden place,
One full of unity, peace, and immense grace.
Where all are treated with oneness and care,
Abounding in love, all willing to share.
✠
All of the lands will be prosperous and full of life,
No more futile anguish, violence, and strife.
Harmony will continue to flow like rivers anew,
There will be one to rule righteous and true.
✠
This place, a Kingdom, ruled by a sovereign King,
Where all will be joyous and forever sing.
Just as the stories and books of old did say,
There will come soon that glorious day.
