The English and the Italian version could be considered two different haiku, you even moved the kireji.
I think the Italian one is more evocative and subtle, but both are very good

    Yes I agree.. but sometimes the translation is so difficoult.. I did well in telling you to consider the Italian one. From now onward I'll always put a note on which one is the original version.
