The Writer- Inspirational Poem
Writing is a dream, so they say
A career which is unstable
But we should write, come what may
Show them all that we are able
One day, when you are living the dream
They will forget that they doubted you
You will be the cat that got the cream
You'll be a writer through and through
Life's to short to be afraid
And life won't wait for you
Don't regret the decisions you made
Just make sure your dreams come true

Great encouraging post. Love how the beginning and the ending are connected, it gives the poem a feeling of being whole. May I be that one person to point out a typo? I hate doing that (especially in public) but there's no DM function on Steemit.
In the third stanza, I believe that it should be "life's too short". It doesn't really take away much from the poem, but I feel that I ought to point it out. Hope you don't mind x
