When Darkness Falls [A Mini-Renga]

in #poetry7 years ago (edited)

This is my entry to @dbooster’s Haiku Contest #3. The theme is “I Saw From My Window” and, thanks to questions over on The Writers’ Block Discord server, decided to try the mini-Renga style.

On @thewritersblock, a Renga is currently under way—the second one now. The first Renga, In Search of Fresh Worlds has already been published. Are you wondering: “What is a Renga?” Check out @dbooster’s post and be inspired!

Wind blows and branches—
hiding the moon—
scrape at the glass.

Fog dulls the bright light
as shadows creep in.
