Eerie sounds emanating,
Mindful thoughts reverberating,
Eyes popped out of an empty socket,
Night is engouled in cricket cries.
Tears are a stream to the eyes.
The mouth whimpers uncharred.

Words beclouded by emotions,
Feelings are like toys to the soul,
Manipulated by stories untold.
Give them a sip of power,
A world for grasps by uncanny harvesters,
Hopes shatters every time put together.

Power currupts the innocent,
This; more than a thousand missteps,
An urge like a persistence surge,
I need a heart of steel to forge.
Anxiety reminds me of uncertainties in the now,
Waiting silently to burst out.

My horizon is a ladder of steep slopes,
Uncertain of what the future holds.
Mind, body and spirit quarrels
This, a huge burden to bear.
Let me tweedle you a duet,
On situations like this while it trends.

Throat throttle in defense,
Still I drown in a pool of regrets.
My mind is a string of cacophony,
But the sun orchestrates a daunty melody,
While the stars roam the dark sky
With a moon transfixed to unravel beauties of the night.
