Announcement of the Winners for the First Poetography Contest

My first Poetography Contest was a success, and I would like to thank all those who supported and submitted their entries. Lots of beautiful write-ups which were created accordingly to the picture shared on the post.

This time, I would be announcing the winners for both language categories, English and Tagalog.

English Winners:

First Place:

@catherinebleish- Mother Nature Speaks

I can feel the words as if it’s the nature that speaking straight to my eyes and it connected through my heart. The flow of every thoughts are colorful yet coherent.

It’s very timely and relevant. It describes the daily status quo of people nowadays and simple things that we can do to achieve peace of mind in this world full of troubles.

@foragingquietude- Refreshing the Soul

This is a kind of free verse which is soothing to read even without the help of rhyming words. It is a bit short yet full of message that strikes and catches the soul.

Subalit kung dumating na ang panahong paraisoy kailangan ko nang lisanin,
Sana ay kagandahan mo`y muling ipamalas saakin.
Awit ng mga ibon, haplos ng mga hangin,
Hakbang ng mga paa, sayaw sa buhangin.
