And if you are still visiting the area, I would recommend a stop at Old Sarum, a place filled with history that still resonates through the stones and trees. Some beautiful old trees that that must have seen the rise and fall of many a man. There isn't much left in the part you pay to get into, but even just the view from the area free to walk around is worth the stop.
