MY POEM #2: "Looking Outside"
The way they see it
You’re perfect.
But needless to say
You actually ain’t.
Because inside you know
You’re broken.
Looking in from the outside
The flaws are hidden.
Your smiles encrypt
The sadness that you keep.
That rainbow after the rain
Gives hope to the ones that wane.
When life takes its toll,
In your heart find peace
Before you fall
Into the dark abyss.
