What I Want The Most (A Poem/Song for Steemit)

No we’ll never be rich
Or famous
No one will know our names
We won’t make the papers
Or the history books
But I’ll love you just the same

We’ll have a little house
Way up on the hill
We’ll get easy jobs
Just to pay the bills

We’ll argue about colours
Then paint the kitchen blue
And we both know I won’t care
As long as I have you

I’ll grow wild flowers
In a garden I can’t tame
You’ll repaint the windows
That leak every time it rains

No we’ll never be rich

No one will know our names
We won’t make the papers
Or the history books
But I’ll love you just the same

We’ll have a car that breaks down
And end up camping where we are
We’ll call it our own adventure
Sleeping underneath the stars

I’ll think I’ve lost my keys
Every other day
And every time you’ll tell me
You've just put them away

I’ll cry over something stupid
Even though I shouldn’t care
You’ll pretend it matters anyway
Tuck away my tear-soaked hair

Talking about a mundane day

A life of moments me and you
Is what I want the most

This is one of those ones that just came to me, I could sit on it for months, but i'll never have to heart to change it too much. Perfect imperfect, it's the flaws that make it yours <3

There is a music between the lines here I wish I was musically inclined enough to express for you, however I will just to hope something greater carries, and you can hear the tune.
