I think you are right there, people are people, we are all the same in many ways. It always baffles me how people draw lines in the dirt, and claim being from one side makes you different. I do try and remember anyway I am feeling, others are too, and probably more so. To be fair, I have plenty of strong supporters, but they also all love me, which is wonderful and amazing and everything. But I struggle to tell how objective they can be, and also knowing me so well, they know how I talk and hear it in my writing. It is good but when someone who doesn't know you, and has just read your writing says it, it means a lot more! You know it is just from your writing.
You are pretty close to mystic seer level, lol, you have made wild friends, have made your home in the forest, and fix things, pretty old school magic if you asked the inquisition!
It is so hard to balance optimism and realism. I want to believe it, but then I struggle to get my hopes up too much. I have been trying to walk the knife edge in the middle which can be a bit wobbly lol. I try and just focus on writing and then afterwards decide if it needs more work. It is just part of the human dilemma I suppose :)
