So about a month and a half ago I decided I wanted a garden for my apartment, (which is kind of difficult in a 3 story, 12 apartment complex) but I was determined to make it happen. I bought some 2x4's and built a small box which I lined with fabric and then plastic to retain the soil. I planted a few vegetables and herbs (summer squash, zucchini, broccoli, sweet peppers, lavender, cilantro, basil) and I am proud to say that they are doing pretty well now! At first I was upset because the plants I was planting only survived about 1/2 the time, but after a few adjustments to the soil I am able to keep them alive :)

This is only a few plants I have growing, I'll be sure to upload more in the next few days, as well as some progress pics.
