Part 1: The disappearance

Possibly the most significant single event to thrust Pizzagate into the international media spotlight. Madeleine McCann, born May 12, 2003 in Leicester, England, disappeared on the evening of May 3, 2007 from her bed in a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, a resort in the Algarve region of Portugal. Her case has been called "the most heavily reported missing-person case in modern history".

As many as 710 suspects have been investigated in this case, and it remains an unsolved mystery. There are, however, connections to John and Tony Podesta which have remained officially uninvestigated by law enforcement.

Part 2: Portuguese investigation (2007-2008)

The Portuguese police looked into around a dozen involved individuals who were vacationing with the McCann family or were seen in the area. During this time the McCann's stories did not match each other, nor that of their vacation friends, dubbed the "Tapas Seven". Corpse sniffing dogs would also find hits on locations in the McCann's apartment, their car, and mother Kate McCann's clothes.

Later DNA results would prove "too complex" to be conclusive, so the case building against the McCann's was dropped in 2008.

Part 3: McCann family is told she was abducted by pedophile and pleas to British Prime Minister (2010)

McCanns spoke with Ray Wyre, a pedophile expert who was on the guest list at Elm Guest House, a notorious pedophile brothel, said that he knew Madeleine had been abducted by a pedophile. Kate and Gerry McCann subsequently released a plea to then-Prime Minister David Cameron as the Portuguese police had shut down their investigation.

Part 4: Operation Grange: British investigation (2011-present)

At the behest of the British government Scotland Yard would take over the Madeleine McCann case in 2011 after it had been left unsolved by Portuguese authorities. Named, "Operation Grange", a team of detectives and researchers would carry out the investigation and collect an amazing sum of evidence and testimony:

The Operation Grange team had tens of thousands of documents translated, released an updated age-progressed image of Madeleine, and investigated 560 lines in inquiry and 8,685 potential sightings of Madeleine. By 2015 they had taken 1,338 statements, collected 1,027 exhibits, and investigated 650 sex offenders and 60 persons of interest.

Part 5: McCann family's suppressed private investigation by Oakley International

Suspect EFITs produced by Oakley International

The McCanns were well resourced, and were frustrated with the official investigation, so they hired their own detective agency. The agency was Oakley International and was headed up by Kevin Halligen. The agency also involved ex-MI5 agents such as Henri Exton, who initially put the McCanns in touch with the agency.

This agency was the source of the efit images. The company sent personell to Ireland to interview an Irish couple who saw a suspicous man at the time and place of Madeleines disappearance, and to make the EFITs we see today.

The agency subsequently defrauded the Madeleine McCann foundation of £300,000 and produced a report in 2008 which was never released publically. Only the EFits from the report was released in 2013.

Kevin Halligen, the head of the company, Irish citizen (note the witnesses who made the EFits were Irish), was involved in Washington DC. He mixed in DC circles and was tasked with laundering money from Trafigura to Washington lobbyists, however he pocketed the money. This would lead to his trial and arrest.

Given his close association with Washington DC, and the huge resemblance of the EFit images, it lays doubt on the legitimacy of the EFit images. However the fact that the EFits can be easily discredited, yet the absence of MSM coverage of them in their attempt to debunk Pizzagate suggests that there is something to the EFits that is being covered up.

It would also be noted that consistently throughout the investigation the McCann's would deliberately not reveal vital details about Madeleine that could assist in the investigation, in addition to having conflicting testimonies.

Part 6: The Podesta Connection

The EFITs went viral after the Internet community noticed the uncanny resemblance between the suspect(s) and Tony and John Podesta. With the help of Wikileaks and their release of the Podesta emails, Anonymous and Reddit users were able to discover that John Podesta's email had a mysterious gap between May 4, 2007 and June 14, 2007 during the initial disappearance.

An assistant was sending emails on John Podesta’s behalf on May 4, 2007. The email that starts on May 4, 2007, the day after McCann’s abduction, is written to Mr. Sandler: https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/9364

Not only did John personally not respond to emails around the time of Madeleine's disappearance, but when his records begin again there seems to be indication that he is using a new email. Multiple Delivery Status Notification (Failure)s are a sign of this.

According to a now famous Reddit user, @FBIanon, the Podesta brothers were also in Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007. They were staying with an associate, Clement "Clem" Freud, who owns a villa in Praia da Luz. Freud's villa is less than a third of a mile from where Madeleine McCann was abducted.
