¡Saludos Comunidad Steemit! Participo, en el PitchPerfect de esta semana, cantando un cover de la hermosa oración "Alma de Cristo" (Anima Christi).

Pocas oraciones hay tan bonitas como el Anima Christi o Alma de Cristo. San Ignacio de Loyola la incluyó en los Ejercicios Espirituales y por eso muchos piensan que es el autor de la misma, aunque en realidad su origen es medieval. El papa Juan XXII concedió numerosas indulgencias a todo aquel que la rezara, lo cual ha hecho también que algunos le consideren el autor. Lo cierto es que no importa quién la inventase, porque nos ha sido entregada por la Tradición de la Iglesia, como un precioso tesoro.

El Anima Christi nos ayuda a detenernos en la contemplación del más hermoso de los hombres y así re-centrar nuestra existencia.

El final de la oración es especialmente conmovedor. Quien la reza se muestra como un niño ante Cristo, consciente de que sin Él no puede nada. Nuestra esperanza como cristianos es que Él, en la hora de nuestra muerte, nos llame y nos mande acercarnos, para que podamos alabarlo y bendecirlo por siempre.

Esta oración nos anima a contemplar el significado de aquél que es verdadero Dios y verdadero Hombre, al Verbo encarnado, a Dios mismo hecho Hombre. Las palabras que conforman la oración "Anima Christi" pueden resultar duras al oído del no creyente, escandalosas, como sucediera en la sinagoga de Cafarnaún cuando Cristo dijo a todos allí "Porque mi carne es la verdadera comida y mi sangre, la verdadera bebida" (Juan 6, 55), en ese momento algunos exclamaron "¡Es duro este lenguaje! ¿Quién puede escucharlo?" (Juan 6, 60) y después, muchos discípulos se marcharon; ellos no comprendieron el significado de aquellas palabras, Cristo no los invitaba a ser antropófagos, Cristo les hablaba de su propio sacrificio pues Él entregaría su cuerpo y su sangre, y después de morir, nos daría el signo supremo de la Resurrección. "Beber su sangre y comer su carne" no es más que creer en su sacrificio, en su divinidad, en su resurrección, en su Palabra, y seguirlo. Así que, para comprender la oración "Anima Christi", debemos dar una mirada con los ojos de la fe para no alejarnos como aquellos discípulos, incrédulos y escandalizados. "Alma de Cristo" nos habla del sacrificio de nuestro Señor Jesús por la salvación de las almas y del mundo entero, acto inspirado por el más puro amor, el de Dios, para nuestro bien. También nos habla de la promesa de vida eterna en El Padre Celestial. Quiero compartir lo que Jesús me dice por medio de esta oración puesta por la Gracia de Dios entre nosotros; te comprendo, te consuelo y tengo misericordia de ti, porque conozco tu dolor, tus tristezas, tu desánimo, tus dudas, conozco todas tus penas, pues yo también las he sufrido en mi carne, en mi ser, todo esto por y para ti. Pon tu mirada en mi que no soy un Dios ajeno a tu dolor, por ti vine al mundo, para llevar mi luz hasta tu corazón por medio de mi Palabra pero también por medio de mi Pasión y mi Resurrección, confía en mi, descansa en mi, pon todas tus dudas y temores en mi que yo te guiaré hasta mis brazos, hasta el Amor y la Felicidad Eterna de mi Ser...

Quiero agradecer a Dios por poner su mano protectora sobre todos los venezolanos, librándonos de las calamidades que trae consigo un sismo de 7.3 en la escala de Richter. Gracias Señor, Gracias.

Few prayers are as beautiful as Anima Christi or Alma de Cristo. Saint Ignatius of Loyola included it in the Spiritual Exercises and that is why many think he is the author of it, although in reality its origin is medieval. Pope John XXII granted many indulgences to anyone who prayed, which has also made some consider him the author. The truth is that it does not matter who invented it, because it has been given to us by the Tradition of the Church, as a precious treasure.

Anima Christi helps us to stop in the contemplation of the most beautiful of men and thus refocus our existence.

The end of the sentence is especially moving. The one who prays is shown as a child before Christ, aware that without Him he can not do anything. Our hope as Christians is that He, at the hour of our death, will call us and send us near, so that we can praise and bless him forever.

This prayer encourages us to contemplate the meaning of the one who is true God and true Man, the Word incarnate, God himself made Man. The words that make up the sentence "Anima Christi" can be hard in the ear of the unbeliever, scandalous, as happened in the synagogue of Capernaum when Christ told everyone there "Because my flesh is the true food and my blood, the true drink" (John 6:55), at that moment some exclaimed "This language is hard! Who can hear it?" (John 6, 60) and later, many disciples left; they did not understand the meaning of those words, Christ did not invite them to be anthropophagous, Christ spoke to them of his own sacrifice because he would give his body and blood, and after dying, he would give us the supreme sign of the Resurrection. "To drink his blood and eat his flesh" is nothing more than to believe in his sacrifice, in his divinity, in his resurrection, in his Word, and to follow him. So to understand the prayer "Anima Christi" we must take a look with the eyes of faith to not get away like those disciples, unbelievers and scandalized. "Soul of Christ" speaks of the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus for the salvation of souls and of the whole world, an act inspired by the purest love, that of God, for our good. He also tells us about the promise of eternal life in Heavenly Father. I want to share what Jesus tells me through this prayer placed by the Grace of God among us; I understand you, I console you and I have mercy for you, because I know your pain, your sorrows, your discouragement, your doubts, I know all your sorrows, because I have also suffered them in my flesh, in my being, all this for and for you . Put your eyes on me that I am not a God alien to your pain, for you I came to the world, to bring my light to your heart through my Word but also through my Passion and my Resurrection, trust me, rest in my, put all your doubts and fears in me that I will guide you to my arms, to the Love and Eternal Happiness of my Being ...
