Yah pirates of the past!
There is new pirates around us. They moved. Away from the Caribean they went …. to return in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. No more sword they carry, no more sailing boat. Not looking for gold nor silver but for dollars or crypto currency in the milions.
Them are the feared Somaliland Pirates.
Iron motorboats and AK47 and RPG on them shoulder they enter the big boats. The boats with rich owners! Pussy crew was easy to capture. Ransom wired in crypto currency ! Pirate life was good in poor Somaliland.
Then rich owners asked the governments to help. Stupid western governement answered No can do. No arms on ships. Will send one fregat only. But private sector is better – send private guards on board of ships. Pirates got shot to pirate pieces from long distance.
and decided to go look for easier money.

Somali pirates is now fighting for Saudia Arabia in the dessert of Yemen! Saudi's themselves do not fight close distance. They ask Somali ex-pirate no goods to fight for them. Paying very well! But again sitting in dessert in Hummer car now being shot to pieces by resident Yemen Houthis. So sad for ex pirates. Poor pirates.

Oh god what a video. Somali's have nothing to do so they join these gangs for the survival. But this is more then enough. By fighting it will come to an end so why can't everyone drop their weapons and start with a new begining?
It's a tough fix. Most of these guys are former fishermen, multinational fishing fleets illegally strip clean most of the food fish and a lot of shipping dump their effluent in their waters leaving little and the Dictatorship wont do a thing to protect it. The country is too divided among clan lines and the Tayo party won't reform their pseudo-democracy. "Pirates rarely start out as Pirates."
Feels sad to hear that. Hope their might be something through which it will come to an good end...
I hope so for the country as a whole rather than the few. The government st times wouldn't even allow UN Peace keeping forces in. Nor help from the US, but the US now just sends in Drones to take out suspected Al Qaida related targets ending up killing far more civilians than actual Terrorist according to globalresearch.ca and we wonder where Terrorists come from.
