Sandy art. A beach festival.

Hello my dear friends Steemians! Yesterday, my city walk was to the beach. We now have in St. Petersburg the weather is hot and we try to spend more time closer to the water. City beach is located in the heart of the city, the walls of the famous Peter and Paul fortress.

My goal was to visit the sand sculpture Festival. This is a traditional annual event. The contestants created their sculptures on the territory of 4000 square meters.They came from different cities to participate in the competition. For the construction of the sculptures was brought 3000 tons of sand. This year's theme was "Images of Russia" of different generations.

I want to share with You my photographs and the positive, which I got from visiting the festival.

Here was represented the history of Russia at different stages. But the main thing is how the sculptors were able to Express their vision of this theme.

The image of Peter the great was selected in honor of the founding of St. Petersburg. You can even see a resemblance. It is incredibly difficult to achieve, working with sand, although it is a soft material.

In 1980 Moscow hosted the Olympic games. It, too, we were able to see one of the sculptures. Her symbol was the bear. Many remember him.

I especially liked the work, under the title "Russia - grieving" . And again, the point here is not the name of the country. Sorrow are emotions common, to many and not only in Russia. I was attracted here how transferred to the very state of mourning. I felt these emotions. I believe that the author managed to convey this state. This woman, sitting on her knees, her head covered with a thin cloth. Do not forget that everything is made of sand.

Привет мои дорогие друзья Steemians! Вчера, моя городская прогулка была на городской пляж. Сейчас у нас в Санкт-Петербурге стоит жаркая погода и мы стараемся больше времени проводить ближе к воде. Городской пляж находится в самом центре города у стен известной Петропавловской крепости. Моей целью было посетить Фестиваль песчаных скульптур. Это традиционное ежегодное мероприятие. Участники конкурса создавали свои скульптуры на территории 4000 квадратных метров.Они приехали из разных городов , чтобы участвовать в соревновании. Для возведения скульптур было привезено 3000 тонн песка. Темой этого года стали "Образы России" различных поколений. Я хочу поделиться с Вами моими фотографиями и тем позитивом, который я получила от посещения этого фестиваля. Здесь была представлена история России на разных её этапах. Но главное - это то, как скульпторы смогли выразить своё видение этой тематики. Эта работа имеет название - "Покорение Сибири Ермаком". Образ Петра первого был выбран в честь основания Санкт-Петербурга. Эта девушка олицетворяет Русь, освобождённую от ига. Также были скульптуры, которые отражали эпоху Петра Великого. Нашли своё отражение и В.И.Ленин; И Ю.А. Гагарин- как первый космонавт. Был представлен московский кремль (Спасская башня). В 1980 году в Москве проходили Олимпийские игры. Её тоже мы смогли видеть в одной из скульптур. Её символом был этот медведь. Многие его помнят. Не обошлось и без неприятности. Скульптура, посвященная Храму Василия Блаженного в москве, сильно пострадала из-за сильного дождя и града. Здесь представлено много скульптур, отображающих различные периоды истории нашей страны. Но я показываю всё это не с целью и не для того, чтобы навязывать Вам исторические факты. Я прежде всего хочу показать Вам, дорогие друзья, работы этих скульпторов. Воспринимайте это с точки зрения искусства. Особенно мне понравилась работа, под названием "Россия - скорбящая" . И опять же дело здесь не в названии страны. Скорбь - это эмоции присущие многим и не только в России. Меня привлекло здесь то, как передано само состояние скорби. Я ясно ощутила эти эмоции. Я считаю, что автору удалось передать это состояние. Эта женщина, сидит на коленях, её голова покрыта тонкой материей. Не забываем, что всё это выполнено из песка. Конечно мы увидели любимые персонажи из российских и советских фильмов. Это было очень приятно! Известные музыканты Ленинградского рок-клуба. И детям и взрослым было интересно посмотреть на скульптуры с изображением сказочных персонажей и героев любимых мультфильмов.
