JUMP | A series i made, inspired from Radiohead - Street Spirit
Today i want to show you a series i made after i listened, in an obsessive way, the Radiohead - Street Spirit song. This is about how music can really influence your photography and style.
In my opinion, music you love is connected right into your soul, your vision will expand and your mind will generate great content.
Every time i listened to Radiohead i was such in a mood to take photos. In my stupidity, i only once went out and made a photo shoot. The photos that follow were made with my headphones on my ears and the tune was looping to infinity.
A single song can inspire you so much as a photographer, it can dictate every composition, every lighting setup and every mood the photo has. I realize that many of my shots are influenced by music.

Personally i will try and make more sessions like this one, I will select a song that i really love and put my headphones on my ears as i shoot. This will be a great experiment i think.
I really think this type of photography method is a truly connected to your soul and will generate powerful photography. The mix between the feelings form the song and what your eyes will see is a perfect one.

This also helped me when i had an artist block as a photographer. It will boost your creative mind and will let you photograph what you feel. If you try this, please let me know.

I think it's awesome you turned the last image into a gif. Those street dancers on the dusty road in the Radiohead video were amazing. I can see why that would inspire you. Probably my favorite Radiohead video, actually. More please!
