I like this. Each stands alone completely as a portrait, but in a gif, becomes a story that is actually followed. As a single portrait, you can make up your own story to go with it. As a series, you lead us a bit down the path of the actual story. My first thought, he was not happy to be photographed. Or not having the best day. The last one, he looks quite pleased. My interpretations were taken there by your series. Very nice work, in the photos, details, composition and quality, and the story it tells, AND you tell in the post. You got a lot out of a simple post, that's for sure. A triple stacker. And that is all I will say today ( :
