Live in concert at Vienna's Flex, Klaas Heufer Umlauf of "Gloria" gets hit by the light."
Managed to get this colourful shot of german TV personality Klaas while he was in Vienna with exploring his other love; Music! Certainly interesting and rather heartwarming to see a different side to his somewhat anarchic TV appearances with Joko in ZDF's "Circus Halligalli".
The music is a more emotional than expected mix of alternative, pop and rock elements which is played in convincing fashion and with enough drive by a band made up of high quality musicians. Sung all in german, we are treated to a nostalgic, sometimes hopeful, occasionally political and certainly something that hits close to home. While not an outstanding gig it was a good one. I definitely had a nice evening though!

„FLEX“
Flex is a nightclub in Vienna. It is located between underground station Schottenring and Augartenbrücke. Many international and Austrian music acts and DJs, such as Pete Doherty, Juliette and the Licks and Arcade Fire, have performed in Flex. There have been hundreds of visits from drum and bass DJs like: Pendulum, High Contrast, DJ Marky, Aphrodite, Patifee, DJ Hype, Logistics, Leopoi, and others. According to the annual rating of German music magazine Spex Flex has been among the best nightclubs in Europe for years. The soundsystem is also widely considered one of the best.
Thanks to @kalemandra for creating the wonderful #colorchallenge where we get to be creative every day of the week! Also a shoutfor for @edje and his Call to Action about creating a holistic music community. In this vein I like to combine my color challenge with a concert review!

Wow, du hast Klaas echt sehr gut getroffen. Finde "richtige" Konzertfotos einfach 1000 spannender als die typischen Smartphone Bilder. Durch die hohe Brennweite hier wirkt es echt intim.
Machst du das beruflich oder als Hobby? Ist ja nicht jeder mit einer DSLR im Flex unterwegs.
Ich mache das seit einigen Jahren beruflich :)
Für dieses Foto war ich genau vor der Bühne im Kameragraben!
Wir haben es uns damals eben zur Aufgabe bessere Konzertbilder als ein Smartphone zu liefern :)

wow! I know it is the indgo theme, but the magenta is almost identical to the taubmans magenta tinter we use to tint house paint... you made me miss tinting paint! Well done !
Tinting paint is one of my favorites to work with when making murals. It's got nice powerful colours, works well on most surfaces and is pretty weather proof!
