Color Challenge: Friday Blue - Jon Wayne 𝄞
Back in full swing for three Austrian premieres at a packed Brut. Alongside live visuals provided by visual magicians NITA and VALENCE we were treated to an international music line up featuring Anushka from Brighton, Jonwayne from L.A. and Romare from London.
The true highlight of the evening in my mind was the performance of L.A. based rapper Jonwayne from Stones Throw Records. The supreme drive of his beats and lyrical rodeo had the crowd reaching fever pitch in no time. This is what we call Poetry in Motion, as his music was followed up with actual poetry that was both profound and well written, analogous to his music. Jonwayne quickly made himself comfortable on stage, who needs shoes anyways, and subsequently got close and personal by taking a stroll through an endearing crowd. The visuals on display had a pop-art poster like quality to them, often featuring snippets of Jonwayne himself. It was loud, it was smooth, it was awesome!

These photos are great and the visual effects in the video are phenomenal!!! The vocals were awesome, but man, SO unexpeted! I love it when people are not what I expect and teach me to not judge a book by it's cover!!! Great post. Thanks for sharing!
Yes that's one of my favorite parts about working in the music industry. Occasionally you are treated to these primal surprises of sound and poetry. Glad you liked it!
