Love for traveling part 2: Croatian island Hvar old settlement Velo Grablje and Malo Grablje

We are continuing our journey I hope you'll like it.

So last summer we were visiting our friend, and he was our tour guide and show us two for that time big settlements on island Hvar. You need to have in mind when these settlements were full of resident the tourism was something that will happen in future, and this was agricultural region. The main product of island is wine and pine forest. Malo Grablje is abandoned settlement, and Velo Grablje still have some of old residents

In this part of Adriatic sea, island Hvar has most of sunny days so it is often called sunny Hvar.

Some (all of :( them ) of the pictures are blurry because my phone camera died at end of a trip.

This is loading port Sućuraj where we waited for the ferry.

We had a wild ninja appearance on board :)

Smal "Grablje" (native: Malo Grablje)

Only place that works and has some life is tavern "stari komin"

After some refreshment we continued

This is Mill and school (high tech for those days )

Nature taking what belongs to her

So that was "Malo Grablje" then we went to "Velo Grablje"

Main street

This was the place of commerce and trade for both settlements

So that will complete our journey for now.
