When it has the wings together, defense drawings come forward and will cause the deterrence against other predators. The lower part of the right wing shows a snake and appears to be able to attack. Right wing is equipment with eyes and can look like an owl.
Believe many predators will keep a distance when they are such drawings, they are incredible with their colors and drawings on their wings
I see that explains a lot
they look very fragile don't they?
it's true in the animal kingdom that colors do act as a warning sign
